Before and After Moving Stories – Real Transformations by Dial and Move Kenya

A move is more than a change of address — it's a transformation. It's the beginning of a new chapter, a fresh start, and often a significant improvement in quality of life. At Dial and Move Kenya, we have had the privilege of being part of thousands of these transformations. Here are some of our most inspiring before and after moving stories — real accounts from real customers whose lives changed for the better after their move with us.

As the most trusted movers in Nairobi, we don't just move belongings — we move lives forward.

Story 1: From a Cramped Bedsitter to a Spacious 2-Bedroom Apartment

Before

Mary had been living in a cramped bedsitter in Eastleigh for 3 years. Her belongings were piled on top of each other, she had no space for a proper dining area, and her young daughter shared the single room with her. The environment was affecting their quality of life and Mary's daughter's ability to study.

The Move

Mary called Dial and Move Kenya after seeing our number online. She was worried about the cost, but our moving quote was well within her budget. As cheap movers Nairobi residents trust, we provided a transparent, affordable price for her small load move. Our 2-person team completed the move in 3 hours.

After

Mary and her daughter now live in a spacious 2-bedroom apartment in Kasarani. Her daughter has her own room and study space. Mary has a proper dining area and a living room for the first time in years. She describes the move as "life-changing."

"Dial and Move Kenya didn't just move my furniture — they moved me into a better life. I wish I had done it sooner." — Mary W., Kasarani.

Story 2: From a Struggling Home Office to a Professional Business Premises

Before

David ran his graphic design business from a corner of his bedroom in Kilimani. He had outgrown the space, struggled to meet clients professionally, and found it impossible to separate work from home life. His productivity was suffering and his business growth was stalling.

The Move

David booked Dial and Move Kenya's office moving service to relocate his equipment and furniture to a new studio space in Westlands. Our office movers Nairobi team handled his computers, large-format printers, and design equipment with specialist care. The move was completed in a single afternoon.

After

David's new Westlands studio has transformed his business. He now meets clients in a professional environment, his productivity has doubled, and his business revenue has grown by 40% in the first year. He credits the move as the turning point for his business.

"Moving to a proper studio was the best business decision I ever made. Dial and Move Kenya made it happen seamlessly." — David O., Westlands.

Story 3: From Nairobi Chaos to Peaceful Meru Living

Before

The Gitonga family had lived in Nairobi's Embakasi estate for 12 years. With rising costs, traffic congestion, and a desire for a quieter life, they decided to relocate to Meru where they had family land. The thought of moving their entire household — including a large farm of furniture and appliances — over 200 km felt overwhelming.

The Move

Dial and Move Kenya's long-distance team handled the entire relocation. We packed the 5-bedroom home over 2 days, loaded 2 trucks, and delivered everything to Meru safely. Our moving services Kenya-wide network made the long-distance move as smooth as a local one. The moving in Nairobi prices for the long-distance move were competitive and fully transparent.

After

The Gitonga family now lives on their own land in Meru, surrounded by nature and family. Their cost of living has reduced significantly, the children are thriving in a new school, and Mr. Gitonga has started a small farm. They describe the move as "the best decision our family ever made."

"We were nervous about such a big move, but Dial and Move Kenya made it feel easy. We are so happy in Meru." — The Gitonga Family, Meru.

Story 4: From Disorganized Storage to a Streamlined Warehouse

Before

A Nairobi distributor was operating from an overcrowded, disorganized warehouse in Industrial Area. Stock was difficult to locate, order fulfillment was slow, and the cramped conditions were creating safety hazards for staff.

The Move

Dial and Move Kenya managed the relocation to a larger, purpose-built warehouse in Ruiru. We moved over 1,500 pallets of stock, disassembled and reassembled all racking systems, and helped the client implement a new warehouse layout for maximum efficiency. Our professional movers Nairobi industrial team completed the move over 4 days.

After

The new Ruiru warehouse is organized, efficient, and safe. Order fulfillment time has reduced by 35%, staff morale has improved, and the business has been able to take on new distribution contracts it previously couldn't handle due to space constraints.

"The warehouse move transformed our operations. Dial and Move Kenya didn't just move our stock — they helped us build a better business." — Operations Manager, Ruiru.
